Today Sam had to go back to work. He has been home with us since I delivered and has been an amazing help. He also has been able to have some serious bonding time with Abby and Luke. I had been dreading this day since the beginning but I think Sam had dreaded it more. He woke up early this morning to have some time with them...Luke must of known something was changing today because he didn't sleep last night. And in true Luke form he didn't cry much...just hung out in the pack in play all night with his eyes wide open and sucking his pacifier. I think he wanted to be awake for the big "good-bye" after all...they have spent every day and night together. After a semi-hectic morning I loaded up the kids and we met Sam for our first of many lunch dates. That made it easier on all of us...even though the kids slept through lunch I know they enjoyed it just as much as we did!
