January 5th in Colorado and we went to the zoo without jackets! It was almost 60 degrees, we were still on Christmas break so we met up with Paula, Logan and his baby brother Brecon for a great day at the zoo. We had so much fun. The kids are at a great zoo age where they are getting more interested in looking at the animals instead of running from exhibit to exhibit. Much to my dismay, this time their favorite thing to look at was the big anaconda swimming in the water...NO THANK YOU! They kept trying to get me to come over to look at it but I just can't stand looking at snakes. Good thing I could distract them by suggesting it was time for lunch.
We also took Logan on his first carousel ride. He loved it so much he wanted to go on it a second time right away. Of course I took him again. It was a great day with great company!
