4th of July Fireworks Time!

We had two excited toddlers who decided that they didn't need a nap today. They did just fine so I guess all the excitement was ok for them. Just as we packed up to go to the Roses a huge storm was rolling in. Wind, rain, thunder and a tornado warning, not the best for doing fireworks. We headed over anyways and played inside until the rain finally let up for a bit. We set up some chairs in the garage and Ryan braved the drizzle to put on a show for the kids. All of the kids lined up along the sidewalk and the first firework was lit...guess which two came running looking for mommy and daddy!?!? Yep...a bit scared but they wanted more. Sam got the tailgating seats in the van set up and we all sat in their out of the rain and watch the fireworks. A few sparklers, pop-its and many fireworks later we put on our jammies and headed home, and guess which two fell asleep right away. No, not us, Abby and Luke!
