I returned to work last Friday. Sam took the day off and had another fun-filled day with the twins, he even braved Wal-Mart with them but he will have to share that story. The day went extremely fast so it really wasn't too bad, plus knowing the weekend was the very next day didn't hurt either. Monday was another story. Fortunately we have a wonderful sitter who helped me ease into my day. I was up bright and early (5:30am) and those of you who know me well know I am NOT a morning gal. I managed to get ready and eat breakfast with plenty of time to spare. Abby was up early with me and Sam but Luke slept in until about 10 minutes before we had to leave. They both slept in late this morning too! When we got to Connie's house we spent a loooooong time saying good-bye. I knew they were in loving hands but it was weird leaving them. Connie sent me off with a present to help me through the day...two pictures of Abby and Luke with her boys---so cute! She also sent me a picture text of them doing just fine. When I got there to pick them up she even had dinner made for us--amazing!! I was so thankful for that because I was exhausted from working a full day again since the beginning of March.
My mom decided to start a new tradition with the twins. She has been starting many new traditions but we really don't mind. She sent them "Back to School" outfits to wear on their first day of "school"...hey where is my outfit grandma? Here are our cuties-
