Daddy Daughter Breakfast

With the twins we have found ourselves trying to find a way to get to know them individually. I decided to start a tradition of having a daddy daughter day, which also leads to a mom and son day. Our first crack at this was Abby and I going to the Egg and I for breakfast. It was fun for both of us but a little bit strange not having mom and Luke with us. Abby decided right away on pancakes, and of course I had to get the ones that were made into the shape of Mickey Mouse, face and all. It was great watching her as she looked all around the restaurant and entertained a few ladies at the table behind us. Breakfast was the usual event for us, messy! I complicated matters a bit by dipping some of Abby's pancakes into the syrup for her (that was the one advantage of not having mom there- got to bend the rules a bit). I think it was a successful first adventure and one can't wait for next month...
