It seems that in the first year of life you have so many firsts to celebrate. Even though the twins are constantly discovering new things we forget that most of them are still firsts. We were at our friend Tanner's first birthday party and they have a teeter totter in their backyard. It has been so long since I have even seen one. Sam showed Abby and Luke how to ride it and they had a blast! They each wanted a turn with mommy too...and yes that is a nice cold corona in my hand!
Funny story about the party...when Tanner blew out his candles Luke was very excited. He got his cupcake and asked for a candle. We lit it and he blew it out before he would eat it. I have a bad feeling that every time he eats cake from now on he will want candles to blow out first.
