We found a new place to spend some time. About 10 minutes west of town is this cute little dairy that you can visit. While there you can watch cows getting milked, see how they bottle milk and make cheese, feed baby cows and goats and play on a tractor. Not to mention eat yummy ice cream and cheese curds!!Our first visit was on a Sunday morning after Sam finished DJing the Greeley triathlon. Abby and Luke absolutely loved feeding the baby animals. We went through 5 bags of food...those are some well fed babies! They loved the goats the best because they ate so much! At one point it got smelly (animals poop too) and both Abby and Luke put their fingers on their noses saying "Ewe...stinky!" We bought some cheese curds to snack on but the twins were more interested in playing with the toy farm set. We left with 3 homemade krautburgers (so good), a pint of homemade ice cream (that Sam and I finished in one sitting) and two bags of chips (the twins picked those out)! It was a great family day.

Since we had so much fun the first time we decided to take Grandma when she came to visit. The day we went we got their early to see the cows being milked. Luke was a little afraid of them but warmed up and kept going back in to see them. It amazed us how they knew to walk in, get milked and walk right out in line. Since it was processing day we went inside to watch them make chocolate milk and cheese. We bought a few bags of food and found our favorite baby animals. About an hour later we went inside and bought some ice cream. Abby picked pink and Luke picked chocie. They loved it. After playing on the tractor, eating ice cream and feeding the goats and calves again we called it a morning.
