Our Little Minnie Mouse and Mickey Mouse!

The best thing about Halloween being on a Sunday is that you get to celebrate it all weekend long. On Friday the twins went to Hayden's school party. Abby had fun, Luke was scared of the costumes. That evening we went trick or treating in our neighborhood shops. It was pretty calm and geared towards kids. They loved getting candy but Luke would only put the gloves and hat on from his costume. Abby had been wearing hers for weeks so we had no problem there!
On Saturday we met up with some friends and my cousin Bryan and his wife Lori in Windsor. The weather was amazingly beautiful so we had a picnic lunch and then joined the masses on Main Street.

With our friends getting ready to trick or treat!
The town pretty much shuts down and all the kids parade up and down the street and trick or treat at the local businesses. We loved it. Luke got scared a few times from some of the scarier costumes. Abby was an old pro walking right up and saying trick or treat. One of the stops is the fire station were they served lemonade and let kids climb on the firetrucks. Very cool. On a way back to the park Abby fell asleep but woke up as soon as she saw the playground. We decided we would let the kids play for awhile while the guys went and watched some college football. All 6 kids played non-stop, you would have no idea they just went trick or treating. An hour and a half later we called it a day.

Bryan and Lori joined us back at our house for the evening, while the twins napped we sat out back and enjoyed the warm weather. After dinner Abby and Luke got their second wind and entertained. We had a music parade, dance show and read TONS of books. A fun day had by all!
