We started prepping the twins for our visit to Santa a few days before we went. They are going through a "scared" phase, where they seem to be scared of everyone and everything. We kept telling them that we are going to see Santa so they could tell him what they wanted for Christmas. When Abby first spotted Santa she was pretty excited, Luke was scared already. We waited for awhile, ate some cookies and chatted with some of our friends. When it was our turn Abby ran right up to Santa and then came screaming back to us. Luke wanted nothing to do with Santa. In the end we have another family shot with Santa. They did tell him what they wanted...Luke wants a dump truck and blocks & Abby wants a princess (we think she really wants an actual princess to come to our house).Funny thing happened while we were there...we were on the 2nd floor of an office building and a bunch of kids were running around playing. All of a sudden we heard the ding of the elevator and no Luke in sight. I went around the corner and heard giggling from inside the elevator. When the door opened Luke had a huge grin on his face and said, "I rode the alligator!"
