Happy New Year!

Happy 2011! As we reflect on the past year we sure did have our share of highlights and lows. The twins have been amazing little blessings who keep us on our toes, keep us laughing and allow us to enjoy the little things in life. With the passing of Kim's Grandpa Reeves and Grandma Fischer it made us slow down and reflect on just how important family and friends are to us. We cherish every memory we make. I received an email awhile back about the Charles Shultz Philosophy, basically it said that we won't remember who won the Super Bowl 5 years ago, the Academy Award last year or the Pulitzer Prize, but we will remember the people who made an impact on our lives. Thank you to all of you who have helped to shape our lives.
Sam's DJ company was dj'ing a wedding for a friend on New Year's Eve. A whole group of our Greeley friends were going to the wedding. It was at the Embassy Suites in Loveland so all of us decided to stay the night. Sam and I had Grandma and Grandpa Fish go out to dinner and a movie while we took the kids to the wedding and reception and then they would watch them once they were ready for bed. The twins had been so excited for the dance party and the minute dinner was over they started dancing with their buddy Cooper. They put on quite the show for the wedding guests and danced until they crashed. Grandma came down around 9:30 to take them up to bed and Cooper joined them shortly. While the we enjoyed the rest of the reception I assumed the kids were sound asleep. Poor Grandma...they stayed up almost until midnight and Abby had a minor meltdown (the major one came at 4 in the morning). When Connie and I made it up to the room all three kids were sleeping on the pull out couch, the twins in their jammies and Cooper still in his ring bearer tux-very sweet. Sam and Brad kept us all dancing till way past midnight and it was great to ring in 2011 with good friends having a fantastic time. We semi slept in, joined some of our friends for breakfast and then headed home to be lazy for the day. It was a great way to end 2010 and start 2011.
Abby and Luke dancing. So sweet!
Mommy, Abby and Bitty Baby. It made me beam every time someone said how adorable Abs and her baby were. :)
Silly Luke and Daddy!
We have made it another year-still smiling!
Here is to a year full of excitement, joy and adventure!
