It was a mommy and daddy get-a-way in paradise! One of my BFF's from high school was getting married on the beautiful island of St. Croix in the in U.S. Virgin Islands and I was her matron of honor...oh darn...we have to go on a tropical vacation! Maggie actually met Tommy on the island while visiting her parents who retired there so it was the perfect place for them to get married. Sam and I were lucky enough to have my parents, his mom and the Rose's take care of the twins while we were away for an entire week. I think the twins actually enjoyed the time with out mom and dad, they were spoiled rotten. We did skype with them every night which we all enjoyed.
Besides Maggie and Tommy's beautiful beach wedding we were able to enjoy most of what the island had to offer. Sam golfed and went sailing while I upheld most of my pre-wedding duties. After the wedding we spent a few days at the beach, went boating, snorkeling, fed the beer drink pig, ate amazing food, visited some old sugar mills and simply enjoyed the beautiful weather and views with great friends. We also celebrated Sam's 33rd birthday with a beach party! As eager as we were to get back to Abby and Luke it was difficult to leave...we absolutely loved it there! Next time we will bring the twins and anyone else who would like to join us.

lucky! Loved the pics on facebook. So glad ya'll got away for a little time reminiscent to before the twins. Team Penn deserved a beautiful vacay :)
