Abby and Luke were so excited to finally be at their grandparents house. It had been since August since we had seen them, I don't think we have ever gone so long. They played all afternoon. That night we celebrated Grandpa's birthday a day early.
Thanksgiving morning Sam and I ran the Turkey Trot. It was my first 5K race and I had a few goals, finish it without stopping, under 30 mins and to drink a beer afterwards! Thanks to my supper supportive hubby we ran it in 29:47...I stopped only to stretch my calf...and we had a beer (or 2) afterwards. Great way to start the day.
While we were running, the twins helped Grandma make pies. Abby was all about making pumpkin pie and Luke was set on making raisin pie. A pie my Grandpa Reeves loved...I think he was talking to us from heaven through Luke. Now don't these little itty bitty pies look great?

Luke ate everything at dinner and everything was his favorite...especially the corn casserole. Picky Abby stuck to some fruit and a roll. We enjoyed spending time with Uncle Dan and Uncle Nick too. Crazy thing about staying at the Grandparents...the twins slept on the pull out couch in the living room and slept in every morning!

We are thankful for the many blessings in our lives.
