Happy St. Patrick's Day

The night before St. Patrick's Day Grandma Fish helped Abby and Luke make leprechaun traps. They were sure to catch a little guy in hopes of finding the pot of gold. Instead the leprechaun left them new shirts to wear and a surprise in the toilet! Abby made us clean the mess up right away!
After the morning excitement we headed to Ft. Collins so Sam and I could run the St. Patrick's Day 5K. It was fun for the kids to cheer us on. After some post race snacks and beer, we went to the parade. I think we spent more time finding a parking spot than at the parade but the kids were excited to see the parade and each had a favorite part. Abby liked the little kids dressed up like flowers and Luke like the mini-leprechaun.
We took Grandma to the airport then spent the evening with the Callaghan's eating corn beef and cabbage and hanging out. Our St. Patrick's Day craft. It takes a long time for little fingers to sort fruit loops and glue them on.
