After breakfast we set out to explore our resort...and did our most favorite activity of all...ride the elevator! We would go up one floor, run the halls and look out over the lobby, then ride up to the next floor and do the same thing. We found an outdoor patio and watched the boats and looked for ducks. I think we took about 10 elevator rides that morning. Why did we pay for park tickets?? Good thing the twins get in free!
It was starting to warm up so Cooper decided to go swimming. I wasn't in the mood to swim so we sat and watched the boys for awhile and danced to the music. It was time for the cookie decorating and we don't like passing up free cookies.
We decorated our cookies then found some comfy chairs in the lobby to eat them. Even though we were having a lazy day, I knew we would need a good nap. We went back to the room and the twins took a 2 1/2 hour nap while I sat on the balcony and read. So nice!
When the guys made it back from the conference we loaded up into the bus and went to Epcot. We were able to ride the Finding Nemo ride and explore the aquarium. We love fish so it was a perfect activity. Since it was the evening there was hardly anyone there and no waiting to get on the ride. Cooper was in the mood for Chinese food (rice with soy sauce) so since we were at Epcot we walked around the world and found China. We parked the stroller by the lake to save our spot for the fireworks and found a place to eat. We had some time before the fireworks so we explored the China area and let the kids run around. The fireworks show was really neat and we were so close. It was getting late and the park was closing so we took the long walk to the bus area and headed home. The twins were out as soon as we got back. Sam and I sat on the balcony with a glass of wine and a Mickey Mouse ice cream bar talking about all the fun we had so far and what was still to come. Not so much of a lazy day after all.
