Our neighborhood town square was hosting a Toys 4 Tots Santa Meeting evening. All we had to do is bring an unwrapped toy and the kids could meet Santa. While we waited for daddy to get home from the store I got the twins dressed up in their Christmas outfits courtesy of Grandma Fischer. The were so happy for their individual pictures and I managed to snap some good ones. When Sam got home he helped hold them up on the ottoman so they could be in front of the tree. I couldn't get as many there because they were fried at that point. We loaded up to very unhappy babies into the car and thank goodness the drive was less than 5 minutes. Once we got them out of their car seats they were as happy as could be.
We went upstairs to meet Santa and luckily it wasn't busy. Luke sat with Santa first and had a very serious look on his face the entire time. Abby sat down and grabbed Santa's real beard, then she turned to look at us and started crying!! Santa was very good about it all and gave them both a candy cane. Luckily, I heard what they told Santa they wanted for Christmas so they should be happy come Christmas morning!
