Nine Months

Can you believe the twins are nine months old now?! Neither can we!

Abigail Mae 19lbs 2oz, 28 1/2inches 50th percentile Lucas David 17lbs 1oz, 27 1/2inches 4th percentile...we are out of the less than 3rd!! Whoo Hoo!

Both babies are trying to walk by pushing anything they can from the walker, to the push toys, to the empty diaper box (the current favorite). They crawl everywhere and are extremely fast and keep us on our toes. Luke is quite mischievous and finds his way to all the wrong things...plants, toilets, dog food. When he knows he is going somewhere he shouldn't he gives us a little chuckle then cruises away. Abby is standing by herself for about 20 seconds at time and loves to stand next to the glass door and mirrors and bang. They love to explore and discover new things in our house...like what is under the end tables and how to pull every piece of Tupperware out of the cabinet.

We make lots of noises and babble talk. Luke says "abba" code for Abby we think and just started saying "da" "da" "da" Sam is proud. Abby says "la-la-la-la" and makes tons of funny noises. They eat 3 meals a day plus snacks and some of our new foods are eggos, mangos, cheese, cooked carrot sticks, cheerios. We are about to venture into the land of meat and yogurt. I just watched Luke pull the lid off the Gerber puffs with his teeth...the boy likes to eat.

Life is full of enjoyment and curiosity!
