Can you believe that only a year ago Abigail Mae and Lucas David were born?? Neither can we some days. Time has flown and the twins have grown so much. Looking back at our first few posts amazes us where we started from. It is hard to believe that only a year ago we had two barely 5lb babies and Luke was spending 5 days in the NICU. Now they are both extremely active and vocal. We have our one year check up next week and we will see just how much they have grown. Our birthday was a rainy day. In fact, one of the biggest snowstorms of the season hit Denver and pounded them with a foot of snow. Luckily, we only had rain...lots of rain. We stayed inside all day waiting for all of our visitors to arrive. Daddy had to work most of the day, but mommy took the day off and Uncle Dan was already visiting. We were waiting for Grandma and Grandpa Fischer and Uncle Nick coming from ABQ and Great Grandma Fischer, Aunt Sue, Cousin Emily and Carolyn from Illinois. The bad weather caused the Illinois crew to cancel their trip and reschedule for June. We were so sad!! The ABQ family made it to Greeley in the early afternoon right after our nap. We played until Daddy came home. Mommy made a yummy dinner and we had some cake without frosting for dessert. It was a great first birthday...we went to bed early so we would be ready for our big party.
Trying to get a picture of twins together is not an easy task.
