Party Time!

A huge snowstorm in Denver tried to put a damper on our first birthday party. It kept quite a few people from making the trip to Greeley to help us celebrate but since we only got rain the party was on for the Greeley folks and Grandma Penn who wouldn't let a couple feet of snow keep her from her grandbabies' first birthday party. We reserved the clubhouse at Kelly Farm so we would have some more room to party. It was the perfect place, when Luke and Abby arrived they started running around laughing. The party was pretty simple: hang out, open presents, watch the twins eat cake, eat our own cake and drink some beer...after all we made it through the first year!!! We hope to see everyone who couldn't make it up very soon...it just wasn't the same without you there.

Happy parents!! One year down and we did it! We have two beautiful children who bring so much joy to our lives.

A big thank you to everyone who has helped us this past year...bringing us food when the twins were born, helping mom during the days so she could shower, giving us time to go out as a couple and all the support and advice. We wouldn't be here today without our family and friends. God Bless you all!!!
