17 months and growing

We love Elmo!! Our friends the Varney's gave us these cute Elmo t-shirts and they match our Elmo toys at Connie's...what could be better!

Our little toddlers are figuring out more and more everyday. We now need to put locks on all our top drawers in the kitchen and bathroom because they are just so much fun to open and pull everything out. The doors to the outside have to always be locked because the twins like to open them and run! They have also mastered the the art of saying "No" and wagging their finger. Beyond the stuff that drives us crazy they are doing some adorably fun things too! Everyday they find our shoes and walk around the house in them...Abby loves my ballet style shoes and Luke loves Sam's running shoes. They like to play chase with each other and will run around the house giggling and squealing with delight. It amazes us to see them develop new skills...they are working on mastering the use of forks and spoons. Luke will find cups of water in the house that we left around and carefully bring them to us. He hasn't had too many spills. They both try to put on their socks and shoes and are becoming more helpful getting dressed in the mornings. Laundry, sweeping floors and wiping up messes are some favorite "chores" for the twins. They really are becoming little people with personalities that we just adore!
