Fischer Family Visit

We had a houseful of visitors last weekend. Grandma Fischer came up on Friday night and we got to play all day Saturday while we waited for Great-Grandma Fischer, Aunt Sue, Cousin Emily and her daughter Carolyn to fly in from Illinois. They were finally making in out to visit after their April visit got canceled due to a crazy spring snowstorm. Cousin Bryan and his wife Lori who live in Denver also came up for a fun filled weekend.
Once everyone got here we headed to Oktoberfest. We grubbed on German food and drank some good beer. The Grandma's took Carolyn home early and the cousins and the twins stayed out a bit later (8:30) to catch up. The next day we got up and all went to mass. Abby slept, Luke ran around the cry room and entertained Carolyn. Great-Grandma was in heaven. That afternoon we hung around our house drinking wine, eating, laughing and having fun.

On Monday we headed up to Estes to enjoy the aspens changing and the beautiful Colorado autumn. That night the kids all took a bath and had a pajama party. It was a wonderful weekend and makes me appreciate how lucky I am to have such an amazing family.
