Our friend Chase had his 5th birthday party at a bowling alley. We weren't sure how the twins would do but we decided to try it out. Turns out they LOVE bowling! It was cosmic bowling so the main lights were off and the disco lights and music was on. I had never seen the rollers that kids can use to bowl but they made it so easy. It was a tad high so they had to stand on their tip toes and lift the ball onto the roller. Then they would push it down and that's about that. Abby picked a pink ball (of course) and Luke found a yellow one. A majority of the time they did all the lifting and carrying & did a great job taking turns with the other kids. I was excited to see how many pins they would knock down but they were more interested in watching their bowling balls come back. :-) Between lifting & carrying the 7lb balls so they could bowl, dancing and eating cupcakes...they thought it was the greatest day ever! Now we have another cold weather activity to do with the twins.
When I took this picture of Abby I did a double take...she doesn't look like our little baby girl anymore...she is growing up so fast!
