sue-see-um

The day after Thanksgiving we headed to the ABQ Children's Museum (sue-see-um in toddler twin talk) with Grandma and Grandpa. We have taken the twins to several children's museums before but they are mostly creative play areas...which they love. This one was really a science based place and even though they didn't understand the concepts they were exploring they had a blast discovering...a big part of science. They were amazed by the ball maze (mom was too), played in the water creating tunnels, built with pvc pipes, created and flew paper helicopters (dad's favorite) and boats, made huge bubbles and so much more.

One of their favorite things to do was to ride in the elevator that had couches. Oh...and watch daddy ride a bicycle in the air!

After a few hours of discovering we played on the playground for a bit and enjoyed the beautiful NM weather. Since we were in Old Town we found a New Mexican restaurant to have lunch at and watch the Nebraska Huskers whoop on the Colorado Buffalos! We must of wore them out because Luke fell asleep after he ate is lunch and Abby was not far behind falling asleep on the drive home...with her "pizza" aka quesidilla in her hand.

When we went, I don't know who enjoyed it more, the kids or Bobby!
