For the last week or so they have asked everyday if it was Halloween yet. It was so exciting this morning to wake up saying "Happy Halloween!" Plus all day we could bribe them to do things or they wouldn't go trick or treating~hee hee. We met up with our next door neighbors to work the 'hood. Our kids were beyond themselves...superboy and supergirl ran so fast from house to house! Earlier in the day Luke told us all he wanted was m&m's and smarties, his favs. He asked every house if they had smarties...no one did! About an hour into our night a man gave Luke smarties, you would have thought he gave him the world. He ran back to the wagon thrilled, opened it up and ate the entire package. The only candy he ate of the night. Abby was all about suckers...and we got bunches. They were great saying thank you at every house.

A quick break to play in the leaves.

Mom and dad were not allowed to leave the house without our costumes on!
Our favorite part of the night. When we got home they couldn't wait to pass out candy. They stood with the door open calling for the trick or treaters. Waving candy and saying, "Hey kids, we have candy!" When someone came to the door they gave them handfuls of candy. We cleared out two bowls in about 30 minutes! The night ended with Pirates Booty popcorn and a showing of Spookly the Square Pumpkin...we had two tired kiddos!
