our little helper

We are just now realizing how much the twins have started coping us. About a week ago I was changing Luke's diaper. When I finished I wrapped it up and was about to take it to the garage...we have gotten rid of the trash pail in their room. Luke grabbed it from my hands and walked to the garage door. I opened the door for him and he threw it down the steps. Now he does it every time and Abby follows him to watch. She grabbed one this morning and threw it down. This afternoon I was tickling Abby and she was laying on the floor like when I change her diaper. Luke ran to their room, grabbed a diaper and brought it to me!! What a fantastic little helper we have on our hands.
He has also been watching me doing yard work. When I pull weeds in my flower garden I usually just toss them over the fence into the empty lot next to us. Last night I was weeding and Luke began pulling grass and trying to throw it over the 6 foot fence. :)
Abby likes to try to brush her hair like we do and she is starting to get so good at eating with a spoon...all from watching us. She also knows that when shoes go on, it means that we are going outside. The minute her shoes are on she is at the door ready to go!
