Last weekend I had to go to Arizona to do some trainings for a school district in Glendale. My flight didn't leave until late in the afternoon so we decided to go to the zoo for the day. It was actually the first time we have gone to the Denver zoo as a family. We were excited to see the twins reactions to the animals because they love seeing animals around town. It was a cool summer day and we had a fantastic time. We even rode the train and the carousel. Abby was afraid of the carousel so she rode with Sam but Luke had a blast. They both loved the train ride around the zoo. Last time we went they loved the gorillas, but this time they were afraid of them. They did like the giraffes, elephants, monkeys and ducks...go figure we love the ducks anytime we see them! We loved spending time together before Sam had 3 days of Daddy Daycare. He did great with them and I missed them all terribly.
