Over Thanksgiving break we went to play in Grandma Fish's kindergarten classroom. Who knew it would be hours of entertainment? Yes, the two teachers...that is why we took them. We were wearing them out for a 3 hour nap in the afternoon. The first thing Abby and Luke did was sit in the chairs at one of the tables and started "working"~coloring that is. Then they discovered her fish. We watched him swim around for a long time and Luke kept coming back to make sure the fish was doing ok.
Abby spied the kitchen set and began cooking away. Luke found a bucket of pinto beans and started taking them out and putting them back in. Then he found the toaster that pops up toast. Again...endless fun. After listening to a book on cd, drawing on the white board, building with blocks and playing with the ABC balls we were ready to eat lunch. 
Now we know that every trip to ABQ is going to include a stop at Grandma's classroom.
