Sparklers

Last week we went to Illinois to visit my grandma who is pretty ill. Since my mom was still in town we decided to just fly out for 5 days to spend time with her. While we were there we spend our evenings at my cousin Emily's house. Each evening we had a new adventure. This night my Uncle Mark (or as the twins called him, Papa Mark) and Emily's husband Dan taught the kids how to do sparklers. After a short freak out from mom I gave the men the go ahead. The twins loved it...especially Luke. He kept asking for more please! Uncle Mark is our family phyro and tries to convert all the boys into his firework obsessions...I think he might of succeeded with Luke at a very early age. After sparklers we did pop-its, which all the kids loved and then had some Popsicles. As the kids ate their second round of Popsicles Uncle Mark and Dan put on a little show with fireworks in the backyard. They all loved the sparkly ones but when the whistle one went off you have never see 3 toddlers run so fast to find their mommies!! Funny thing is they wanted more of the loud ones afterwards!
