Our Tiny Dancer

Abby was so dang cute at her dance recital. We had been prepping her for what it was going to be like and she took the entire day so seriously. The day before we had a full dress rehearsal, make-up, curled hair and all. We bought those spongey pink curlers and I was afraid that she wouldn't sleep well in them, but she knew it was to make her hair curly for dance so she did great. How cute is she:
We could film and take pictures during the rehearsal. I was filming while she danced and I kept hearing her say something, about halfway through I figured out that she was telling me to sit down. Opps, I put the camera down and just watched. Her group danced to Teddy Bear by Elvis and we just loved her outfit, including the teddy bear with matching outfit. Grandma G-G, Grandma Fish, Uncle Dan, Daddy and Luke all had great seats to watch her dance. I was the sucker who volunteered to be the backstage mom for her class. While it was "fun" to watch the first half of the show with the girls and help them get ready to perform, I don't think I will do it again. :-). Abby had so much fun on stage, we might have a little performer on our hands.
After the show she was so excited to find her Luke, who had flowers for her. So sweet.
We have break from dance for the summer but she still dances her dance and plays dance class and recital with her brother.
