Soccer Players!

 We are soccer players! Well...we are 3/4 year olds playing soccer.  It is quite entertaining to watch and a bit amazing to see the progress of these kids.  Sam and our friend Josh is coaching the team of 3-6 year olds...yup, pretty big age range.  Abby, Luke and their friend Jay are the youngest and you can tell.  Sometimes we are not sure if they really know what is going on but other times they are amazing! Sam just loves coaching these kids and does great with them.  He comes up with tons of fun games for them to play.  Luke loves playing.  He thinks it is great except that their is a big boy on his team that scores a lot and is faster than him. During the games they play 3v3.  The first game Abby sat on the sidelines and refused to play.  She is getting better and playing more and more.  Luke scored a goal the first game...for the other team but he was so excited!
A few weeks later, Abby played the entire game and Luke scored a legit goal for his own team.  He was so happy, he gave mom a thumbs up.  Actually, he gives mom thumbs up most of the game.  I love watching them...all the mom's sit on the side lines giggling at the silly things our kids are doing, a bit embarrassed at times and then beyond proud at other times. 
It is hard to believe that we are at the age where we can play sports.  It is great for the twins and coach daddy. 

 Abby likes wearing pig tails to the game. She can swing them around to keep the boys away from the ball-her words.
