Ouch...in both ears!

Abby officially has her first ear infection and in both of her ears. This came as a complete shock to us because she hadn't been sick at all. About a week ago she had a slightly runny nose for a couple days then she was fine. Wednesday night she and Luke were playing and having a great time. Around 10:45 she woke up screaming and was fussy all night long. After a temp of 101', some vomiting and a still fussy baby we took her in Thursday afternoon. She played and was happy with the doctor until he decided to clean out some wax from her ear to look at it...that made Abby more mad than I have ever seen her. Turns out she has an ear infection in both ears. Luckily, it is not contagious so we don't have to worry about her passing it to Luke. She is on antibiotics and is already back to her normal self. To tell the truth it might of been harder on mom and dad...I know she didn't get much sleep for two night so in turn we didn't sleep either. We took turns comforting her but it made for long nights and even longer days. Last night she slept much better and we actually feel a bit rested again. We are dreading the day when they are both sick at the same time.
