Homecoming

UNC's Homecoming was cold, wet and rainy as usual. Not a good day to enjoy a football game. I thought I had bought enough warm gear for Abby and Luke but it was just too cold and we had to cut our day short. We were able to get to the parade in time with Jen and Brennen while Sam and Brian set up the tailgate. Brennen thought is was the greatest thing to ride in the car between two baby car seats. He did a great job entertaining the twins. We joined the Sharps at the end of the parade route and it was the best seat in the house...all the floats were getting rid of their candy so Brennen and Ryan made out. We might of got enough to avoid buying Halloween candy!!

After the parade we headed over to a chilly tailgating. The boys grilled up burgers and we got to reminisce with some old friends. The weather really put a damper on things and not as many people showed up. We were getting ready to call it quits after sitting in the car to stay warm when we ran into the Davidson's...they brought up the family RV so the kids and I headed over and ate our lunch in the RV where it was nice and warm. We braved the cold again just in time to meet up with some of my old sorority sisters. A few of them I hadn't seen since I had graduated. I wish we could of stayed for part of the game but the babies were falling asleep and I was cold and wet. Sam and the Callaghan's stayed and watched the game while Luke and Abby took a 3 hour nap at home...whoo hooo!! I am keeping my fingers crossed for a warm Homecoming next year.

Luke hanging out with Brian and Brennen. They had so much fun playing that evening.
