The last few days Abby and Luke have been so close to sitting up on their own for extended periods of time. Everyday we buy a couple more seconds before they topple over. Connie has been giving they lots of practice during the day too. Tonight, Luke was sitting up for a couple minutes with his arms outstretched to balance himself. I tried to run up to get the camera but he fell over before I could snap a picture. Abby sits up for a bit then always falls towards the front and begins sucking on her toes. Too cute!
Another milestone they have hit is realizing that if they drop something it is not gone forever. The other day Abby was playing in her car with the musical turtle. She picked it up (and it is pretty heavy for a toy) and dropped it on the floor. She had a surprised look on her face and then looked down to where it fell. When I gave it back to her she had a big smile on her face!
