Car seat drama
We are fortunate in Greeley to have the Fire Department available to install your car seats. Since we have never done this before Sam and I decided to take the car in to have the seats properly installed. Yesterday, Sam cleaned out the car and it was ready to go. Our grand plan this morning was...church, car seats, grocery store, car wash and home by 11am. We went to mass and drove across the street to the fire station. No one was there...hmmmm. We drove to the second station and the fireman was very helpful but having trouble installing the 1st car seat. I have decided to drive the Pathfinder since it is bigger and we learned that in doesn't have a latch system so installing car seats is a little more difficult and it didn't help that he didn't read the instructions so he was putting it in wrong. After about 20 minutes the station got a call so they sent us to another station. We drove there and they don't do the installs...on to station #4. Here we got to pull into the big garage and two firemen worked diligently and got one installed...then they got a call...busy Sunday morning in Greeley!! We were off to the 5th fire station and it had been well over an hour. Again, we pulled into the big garage and two firemen came out to help. These two got our second seat installed in record time! We should of gone there first but they told us they just got back from a call. We have ordered two more bases for the Camry but luckily that car does have the latch system so hopefully they won't be has difficult to install...keep your fingers crossed for us!
