We woke up bright and early and had some more playtime with the grandparents before they left for work. The plan was to bring Grandma lunch at school so she could show off her grandtwins to everyone she works with. Mom, Great-Grandma, Abby and Luke grabbed some Dion's pizza (mom's favorite) for lunch and brought some home to Daddy...where he was was under strict orders to eat then nap...then we were off to school. We ate lunch with Grandma and met lots of her friends. We didn't make it to here classroom before the bell rang and one of her students was dissapointed that he didn't get to meet the twins, maybe next time! While Grandma was at her meeting (who has an after school meeting the day before a holiday?!) we played in her classroom...so much fun! Luke made a beeline to the open door and we kept having to turn him around. He cruised around that room to explore all the interesting toys and managed to snag a few puppets to bring back home. Abby decided that she was going to hit a milestone at school that day. She has been watching her brother pull himself to a standing position for awhile now so she decided it was her turn. She crawled over to a kindergarten size chair...put both hands on it... and up she went. She giggled when it happened. We didn't realize then what we were in store for during the next few days after she figured that out.
After we got home mom took her much needed nap, daddy cooked up a batch of green chili and the twins played.
