While you were sleeping

Falling back is starting to do a number on our sleep patterns. Sunday wasn't so bad but yesterday was kinda strange. They did relatively good during the day. On our way home the twins both fell asleep...this happens quite often and they wake up about an hour or so later. We kept waiting for them to wake up but they slept and slept. Luke finally woke up around 11:30, ate a bottle then went straight back to sleep. We were waiting for Abby to wake up any minute but she slept until 3:30am!! She was fully rested after sleeping for 10 hours straight. Daddy got up with her and they played in the early morning hours.

Today I worked a half day and enjoyed some extra time with the babies. We met Sam for lunch then headed home to play. They both fell asleep around 4:45 and we braced ourselves for another strange sleeping night. Luke woke up around 6 and had dinner and played for a long time. While Abby was sleeping Luke conquered a task he has been working on. He has had his eyes on the tissue box that we keep under the coffee table for some time but he gets stuck at the table and starts fussing. Well tonight he made it to the table, got the box and pulled it down. He was caught red-handed playing. It looks like it is time to start baby proofing!

Abby did wake up at 8:00 and ate her bottle. We are happy to report that both babies are sound asleep. Keep your fingers crossed that we have a good night and adjust to the time change quickly.
